Outlook Express deletes attachments

I have a voice-mail account that can be used to receive fax messages.  I can then download and print them using Outlook Express.  I recently upgraded to Outlook Express 6 and since then Outlook Express is treating my fax attachments as unsafe and deletes them.

Is there a setting in OE that can be changed to allow the fax attachments through.  They will only come from a select few (<3) addresses.  Also any fax I receive this way I would consider safe.

Are you sure it deletes the attachments ?

go to tools --> options --> security
and uncheck " Donot allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus "

I misread the warning so no the attachment wasn't deleted just my access to it.

I looked quickly but in the wrong places for the check box you mentioned.  I knew it was there but I didn't look closely enough at that tab but was sure it was in one of the other options.
