outlook error

i get this error "550 relay not permitted" in outlook 2003 how can i fix it

    Check your outgoing mail server settings.  The outgoing mail server cannot receognize you as an authorized user for sending out email messages.

    If your email account is for an ISP (Internet Service Provider), check with them to make sure you are using the proper name for the outgoing mail server or  if you need to use outgoing mail server authentiation (SMTP-AUTH).

    If this is for a corporate network, contact your system admin.
