ACT! 2005, Goldmine 6.5 or the best solution? Mass Mailings, etc.

Hello,

I am currently using Act! 6.0 for my web hosting business and need an upgrade. I want something that I can easily send out mass mailings, this is really important. Something that sends out mass mailings one by one so its not detected as spam.

Thanks for your input in advance.

Regards,

Chris B

Well for mass mailings and CRM i would always recommend Goldmine. The newest version is 6.6 with 6.7 coming out very soon. In my experience Goldmine offers a greater future scalability than ACT does...

Within GoldMine you can either mass mail directly from within the product to a filter or group or maybe you would like to use the new Outlook Integration. This is now available for DBASE users. it gives you the ability to send mail directly from Outlook and it will automatically link incoming or outgoing messages to your Goldmine contact...

All the emails go out individually so wont be detected as spam, and you will also have a nice audit trail in the history against the contact records.

Hope this helps

assuming you have outlook ..

Its confusing but I need to import it from Outlook Express. I have an exchange server connection with tons of email going thru Outlook 2003, dont want to mix stuff up. Do you have any documention or could you point me in the right direction for the Outlook Express mail move over?

Thanks,

Chris B.

sorry the only way to do is it to open outlook. Then choose import from another mail programme. It will then import all the mail into the outlook folder. Then you can view the emails in GoldMine via the email centre and import them

Sorry its the only way

Can you close the question and allocate points if satisfied with answer. I can give you a premium rate Goldmine help number to call if you need to speak to a company for help
