prevent users from running windows update from its web site.

I would like to prevent users to run windows update from its website.
I prefer doing that through GPO better than using a Web Blocker.

what's the difference between the article in your link and setting a policy at:

User Configuration
Administrative Template
Windows Component
Windows Update
then enable the setting that says " Remove access to use all windows update features"

I guess the link would even prevent going that link windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Either should work , does it not ?
