Report/list Files by Owner

We are using Disk Quota on server. I need to know how to list files by owner. Some of the users have exceeded the quota limit but can't find where all the files are to clean up. Maybe if the OS does not have this function there is a 3rd party app that can?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you right click on the gray area where is says name, size, type, date modified, etc..this should be on the top of any folder listing.  When you right click it will show a menu and you can pick owner and it will show owner in an extra field.

If you want this on all folders in the server then after displaying the column in one window go to Tools menu --> Folder Options --> View tab --> then click apply to all folders and hit ok at the bottom and now all folders will have this extra column.

I have found out how to easily list every file owned by a user in the Quota list. Per user you can try and delete entry and it will not let you but it will list every file owned by user and this can be very useful. In this box you can also delete the files or take ownership. Cool huh!..thanks for the input again Dis!
