Hi,
i have a view with some documents. I can see all of them but the rest of user which have person-editors config in ACL cannot see them.
Since i am Person-Manager and i created those docs, i can see them but the rest no.
Seeing $readers field in those documents, other users than me aren't listed.
Please help.
Thanks in advance

if a person is not listed in the readers field he/she will not be able to see the document irrespecticve of his access level. Even if he is manager, he will not be able to see the document. Either add these users in the readers field or remove the readers field

Run a agent with the formula:

field $readers:=@deletefield;

OK. I will try but how to avoid this situation?
I mean, why Notes did that?

I already did that before post the Q.
"All readers and above" is marked.
You see, the view is visible to all users but not the documents that it has.

I was dealing with this for several days with no success.
Then, as person-manager, i did go to doc properties and saw that the other people weren't listed in that filed. Nobody did that, nor manually or by code or formula.
So, i have the right to be wondered why that happens, don't you think so.
By the way, points are your since i did run the agent and now, documents are visible but i still have that bad feeling regarding the problem.

What did you do with the document. If you have gone to the document properties and checked "All readers and above" definitely you shd not face any problem

What i did was in Designer.  I checked that item in the form.
Then, when i see document properties, other users were not listed. To me, this behaviour is strange.

when you able security at the form , all the documents created with that form, will have the security. This is the way it is supposed to behave. Hope that clears .

I agree with you, so why they are not visible?
