Outlook Distribution problem.

I have about 120 contacts to mail a newsletter out to. I do not want them to see all of the names in the 'To' box when I send them. I try loading them into a Distribution List and them putting that group into the BCC field. I send it and the first name of the distribution list appears as the 'To' contact to EVERY one it was sent to...Why is this? Help!

Try this
In the TO field , put your email address and in the BCC put the distribution list

Check what happens

What exactly do you need ?

What do you want to appear in the TO field when the recipient get their email ?

How about you put nothing in the TO field and put the distribution list in the BCC...

OK, sorry for any confusion - its hectic here -

Right now I'm testing it - i have a distribution list with two names for now.
I tried putting nothing in the to field and the list into the BCC field and when I checked the email of the second person in the list - the 'To' box has my name which obviously doesn't make sense. So, instead of my name appearing in a person 'To' box, I need theirs, of course.

Does that help?

thanks!

I guess something is really weird..

Does your name in the distribution list ?
instead of putting all the emails , just put ONE email address in the distribution list and test what happens

Technically , you should be seeing undisclosed recipient in the TO field if you had NOT put anything in the TO field , while sending the email ..

Can you send that email from your outlook to a yahoo email or hotmail and check what you see there
