Need a boot disk with wipe.

Hey all,

I am getting ready to reload one of my servers tonight but I would like to be able to wipe the hard drive first.

Does anyone know  of a link i can use to get a boot disk online to use.  I have a MSDN account if anyone know if I could find this disk on Microsoft site.

Thanks for your help.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

MSDN has ISO images of CD-ROMs for various Windows versions, all the newer OS's (2000/XP/2003) are all bootable.

Of course, you can also format from Windows Setup.

I have the 2000 CD.   the wipe that i used in the past was on a 98 CD and in DOS.  So, I would be able boot up with the 2000 CD and be able to use the wipe function?  And is it still in the dos prompt?

Then formatting from the Window Setup would be just as good as a wiping?

Sorry for the delay - but yes, a format wipes everything out and the disk is fresh for the install
