asked on

cannot access remote event viewer

when i try to access the Event Viewer of a Windows 2003 AD server through my local Event Viewer (connect to another computer) I receive an access denied message.  this occurs no matter what account I use to log on or which computer i am logged onto (even from on 2003 AD to another).  i can access any other server/pc and was able to access past 2000 AD's.  I suspect an enhanced security setting in Windows 2003 and have searched for which one it could be on my test site, however I'm tired of looking and was hoping someone knew the setting already.  whatever this setting is it also does not allow me to access the AD using an MBSA batch file that i use for my servers.
