I imagine..it's something like

    activechart.SeriesCollection(1).border.weight
    where activechart is the chart you want to change, and 1 is the data series for which you want to change the width.

    It can be set to one of the following:
    xlHairline = 1
    xlThin  = 2
    xlMedium = 3
    xlThick =4
