    Hi nicolasball,

When you restart your system , do you have the choice of going into XP and going into 2003 ?
If you do get then go inside XP .

go to start > run and typein: %systemroot% and press Enter
check what folder opens like C:\windows.

If the above is true then XP is installed in Windows. Then go and delete the folder in C in which 2003 is installed maybe c:\WINNT.

Then go to boot.ini and remove 2003 entry

HOW TO: Edit the Boot.ini File in Windows XP

Check if that solves your issue

Thank you very much, that seems to work!!!

Could i ask you one more think... If i were to install it again, how can i partition my drive if it is already partitioned with xp on it....
I have an external lacie (200GB) but it wont let me install win 2003 on it.. is there a way to do this????
the better solution would be to RE partition my c: drive and install it iinto a new one... is there a way of doing this without uninstalling xp???

    thx n.

P.S. if you cant answer this, ill give you the points anyway, but it would be nice if you could answer it for me...

You should able to parition using partition magic and then install 2003 in the other partition..
But before doing anything take a backup of all data in windows xp and then partition the hard drive..
