why when trying to open itunes on windows xp it does not work? tried to repair, reinstall and does not seems to work?

    Can you please give more details: What happens when you try to start the application?

    BTW: Even though iTunes is an Apple application, but it's not a Mac application, so you may have a better chance of getting an answer in a more appropriate TA.

    download itunes 5.0 using xp, program will not open, tried repair, uninstall and reinstall several times, also disable norton internet security and virus scan.
