Remote Assistance

I'm trying to set this up so a friend can help diagnose a problem.
I'm using the email option (Mozilla Thunderbird) as opposed to Wiindows Messanger.

When clicking on Send Invitation, I get an IE prompt:
A program has stopped responding. Please try again.

Of course, it doesn't tell me which program...

Try recreating the file. And email it to them, from a website (attach it).

if still the same problem, have you tried rebooting, THEN trying it??

As in, can you access your POP3/SMTP account from a website? (e.g. www.hotmail.com) ?

I've emailed them the file - we'll see what happens...

Not sure I follow you, why would I need to do that?

Thanks,
