I need help in figuring out how to make a script do the following.

1 Startup the computer at a certain time,
2 Launch VLC and start to play a movie that is on the desktop.
3 Make it full screen and play on repeat
4 Shutdown the computer at a certain time.

Is this possible to do and if it is how can i do it?

Thanks

Alarm clock pro might do the trick or an alarm clock like this. You might find shareware/freeware like this with a GUI easier than scripting although you may have to set your prefs to full screen on start up:

I found that if i did a normal applescript and set the computer on the energysaver schedule to start and shutdown it did the same that i wanted :)

Awarding Rob the points for another good app tho :)
