Users calendars synching with Public calendar

I am wondering if there is a way to synchronize a users vacation time on their calendars with a public calendar? I want to have the users input their vacation and have it update a public vacations calendar. I am very new to forms etc... so I could use some detail.

As far as I can see, using code or tools like in here
can only do the job
