Diablo 2 multiuser LAN question
Can I install the same D2 CD key on two machines at home (connected via LAN) and play both on a locally created D2 game? Or will it complain about a duplicate CD key?
Just to make myself clear, I'm not asking for anther key (that would be illegal). I'm just wonding if they have allowed people to play the game locally on a LAN using the same key(s). Dungeon Siege (Microsoft) allows this.
cheers

IIRC this should be possible. Why not just give it a try.

Because I haven't bought it yet. I wanted to play this game with my family but was wondering if I'd need to buy 4 copies. (you can look at a previous post of mine asking about these types of games)
With Dungeon Siege, you can run the game using the same copy on multiple machines. (on a LAN only)
If I'd need 4 copies, I'll be looking for something else to play.
