FTP server question.

I have a dlink DI-704P router and I need to open setup ftp on windows ftp on my on iis.
So people can download from the ftp server.
Any help would be appreciated.
Can someone helpme.

assuming you have one static ip on the router that does NAT and PAT pack to the server,,,,, all you have to do is port forward port 20 to the ip address of the FTP server and you are done...

I don'ts have a static IP. But the IP stays the same for a week.
Is it port 21 or 20?
off of the top of my head i think i have only ever had to forward port 20. You will just have to test it out for yourself.  Port 21 is the "control FTP port"
