I ma trying to get the backup working properly on a Windows 2k3 server running Exchange server 2k3. The backup software is Veritas Backup Exec 9.1 with the exchange agent installed. When I go to make the selections of what to backup up. The Information Store and First Storage groups are not visible. I cannot select them because they are not even there. I can see them if I run Windows Backup. I know that my problems are caused by not backing up the Information Store, but so far I have been unable to do so. The backup software was just updated to 9.1 from 9.0 last Friday. It was not working before either, that is why I upgraded. Any help appreciated.

You need new keys. Call Vertias customer support and get the new keys. They changed something with 9.1 that makes the old keys fail.
