Cannot move/copy Folders & emails from PST

I have a PST (Outlook 2000) around 800 MB. When I try to move folders from this PST to another PST or the Exchange Inbox, i get the following error:
"Unable to delete this folder. Right click the folder , and click properties to check your permissions for the folder."

When I try to move an individual email i get the following error:
"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid."

I have ran the ScanPST (Inbox repair tool) on this PST , and it doesnot show any errors.

What could be the problem??

    Hi TetraSA,

    Try this
    close outlook
go to the location of that PST
right-click that PST and go to properties and uncheck read only
press OK and now check moving.

to know the location of the PST
    open outlook
go to file > data file management and click on personal folders >properties

It seems the PST file you are using has security permissions pertaining to its original owner. Right-mouse-click on the PST file and check the security and owernship of the file. Add in the user who needs access to the file and give them at least Modify permissions. Once they have access to the PST file, then the individual messages within the file will move successfully.

I have checked the permissions. They are alright.I have full control and i am the owner of the file.
    The file is not Read-Only.

I noticed something else that , when moving some of the folders , some emails are moved succesfully but some give errors.

I am told that this PST(it was a users PST in the company) had the 2 GB size problem. It was trimmed using the Microsoft PST trimming tool and recovered.

Could this be the problem. What could be the solution for it. But the Inbox repair tool doesnot show any errors.
