How do i setup up a proxy server?
I am a NOOB so please be patient with me :-)
I have noticed that quite a few people use proxy servers to let people on their LAN's connect to the internet and control who connects and who doesn't.
I am running W2K3 server and wondered how can i setup a proxy server and also what settings must i put in my win xp clients so they connect through the proxy.
A basic step by step would be nice :-)
my win 2003 server controls DHCP and DNS, currently we connect to the internet via DHCP and anybody can get an internet connection, which i would like to change and give access to individual users in my AD.
Thank you.
