configuring IDS for Catalyst 4500 switch

Dear All

I have set the basic configuration fir my IDS 4215 IDS , such as Ip, mask and Gateway,, ETC.
Now I have a catalyst switch 4500, and i want to configure the span for it so I can activate my IDS, i connected the IDS sesning interface in interface Fastethernet 0/5, I wan to be able to capture all the traffic going in this switch.

Note: this switch support a fiper module.

You need to configure SPAN, (Switched Port Analyzer), below are the links for both IOS, and CAT OS which should provide you with the information you need.
