VBScript: compress(zip) multiple files

Hello everyone,

I need a vbscript file that compresses multiple files/folders into one zip file. ( I need to compress log files, since they take a lot of space).
I do have some experience with VBScript

Any help is deeply, deeply appreciated.

You can do it if you have WinZip full version installed (i.e. the commandLine utility installed)

Another way is to integrate the zipping into your app.  I'm also trying to do this - using SharpZIP (google it).  I'm not there yet, but have had some level of success.

You can also use the command line utility for 7z (7zip), which is free.  This is a little restrictive in terms of path relativities though.
