i can vpn into my network remotely when i use a static ip, but when i'm remote using dhcp i can not access the vpn.

i can vpn into my network remotely when i use a static ip, but when i'm remote using dhcp i can not access the vpn.

we need more information to helo. how do you setup your vpn server and client? what are the ip addresses? what's the error code? for troubleshooting VPN issues, go to http://www.chicagotech.net.

hi sorry about that...

i have 2003 server.  static ip 66.x.x.x

the client is winxp.  i can ping the server.  then try and do the vpn.  once that occurs it trys to log in, but comes back no response from server.
