Microsoft Exchange 2003

When I try to send receive I get this error

Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x80040107) : 'Could not open the item. Try again.'

I had just did a restore using Veritas 9.1 and I was careful to make sure the store was un mounted.  I have applied the service pack and still wont work.  Any help would be great

What outlook version are you using ..

did you try to recreate the exchange email account in that outlook to see if it would work

do all users have got the same issue or just one user ?

Right now it is the same with all users.  They are all running Outlook 2003

Is your exchange server working fine

Like suggested have you reworked on the exchange server profile for a specific user and also the outlook profile of that user in the machine he is logging ON to see if that would help

My exchange server was working fine until this error.  None of the users can send or receive. Also, on the bottom right it says online instead of connected when outlook is open.

nevermind, I figured it out.  It was a pain but I needed to unmount the store, run a repair on the database then manually reconfigure the Email clients.
