Hello all,

I recently noticed that "window.status=___________" does not change the status bar message in Mozilla Firefox, does anyone know how to do so?

    Accepted Solution

Users can control whether JavaScript is allowed to change the status bar in FireFox. I don't recall the default setting, by I personally have it turned off and there is nothing JavaScript will be able to do to modify my status bar.

    Assisted Solution

By default in firefox that option is unchecked ( false )
Go to Tools >Options >Web Features >Advanced Javascript
Change status bar text ( default unchecked )
