Networked computer keeps rebooting

Help

We have a server 2k, with several 2k and XP clients. One of these XP clients keeps rebooting it does not even give the chance to log onto domain server, but works fine as a stand alone pc and also as a networked internet pc. We are using dynamic IPs. I have tried renaming this PC all to no avail.

Thank you

I think you are having Blaster worm on your network (any PC).

Install latest service pack & all patches, particularly "WindowsXP-KB835732-x86-ENU.EXE" & "WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe".

Check the Event Viewer and the System log for Save Dumps. Also untick the reboot automatically check box in the System Startup/Shutdown properties screen so you can get the full Blue Screen Error.
