Sent mail is not in the sent folder

When a email is sent in Outlook Express  you can not see it in the sent folder, but the email was sent.

Hi jackm1,

make sure this option is checked
open OE
go to tools > options > send and check save copy of sent items to sent items folder..

also if that is checked make sure to click on sent column and see if you are actually viewing the last sent emails

if none of the above works , do this

copy the contents of the sent items folder to a different one or make a backup

then go to tools > options > maintainence > storefolder and note the path
close OE
navigate to that path
rename sent items.dbx as sent items_old.dbx
now open OE and see if function would work
