desktop policy

Hi dear

i am using 6.5.2 domino on standard windows 2K server

i have been using 1 org policy with reg setting document for quite sometime and it works fine!

i tried to create desktop settings document and add with existing Org policy .

i want 3 settings to be applied when user loged on to domino

1- Notes Rich Tec format  ( Under Mail)
2- Internet Browser - MS IE (Under Basic)
3- Clear Trash -Promt when exit notes ( under preferences)

somehow the top 2 does not work consistently , some time works some time not

but number 3 does not work at all
when check $polices view in local address book , it shows the contents that policy has been fetched.

A little trick is to have an agent update the policy documents every day, so the Notes clients are updated correctly

Use the document selection to select the policy documents (Policy Settings\... forms)

FIELD $PolMdTm := @Now; SELECT @All

For the Desktop settings, make sure they don't conflict with setup settings (because many are the same).
