Tutorial / Sample code dealing with NON-MFC RichEdit Control

I am looking for any sample code / tutorials on using the Non-MFC RichEdit control.  I need to before a very simple operation, stream in RTF, insert a line at the beginning, and stream it back out... can anyone point me to places that might help?
