Before going on to the project I would like to let you know where I stand. I possess strong theoritical knowledge about various wireless technologies like GSM, bluetooth, 802.11 etc. However when it comes to real time programming I am relatively new inspite of the fact that I have good foundation in C, C++. I want to implement a system in  hotel where people can come in and order the food they want through a wireless menu. I am really confused on where to start with. I tired searching in google but I wasn't able to find a good webpage that would help beginners like me. Kindly could anyone help me out.

Thnks in advance,
