Dreamweaver copying error

Hi,

Whenever I am copying and pasting text I get the following error.

"
While executing onload in pastefireworkshtm.htm the following javascript error(s) occured:

infile 'pastefireworkshtml"":
reference error initialise not defined.

"
This error message pops up twice before actually allowing the copied text to be pasted.

I have uninstalled fireworks, this does not work. Also the file that I am working is a .htm extension and is not an empty document. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Brad

Do you have any extensions installed?
This may due to the fact an extension of a previous version
of Dreamweaver is installed and is causing some sort of conflict.

hi,

I have both dreamweaver 2000 and 2004 installed, should I uninstall the older version?

thanks,
Brad

I would suggest you first make a backup of your settings (export your website definitions) and then uninstall ALL DW versions.
Then just install one.

The problem exists at other places on the web, but there is no known solution (yet).

I would guess it is related to Fireworks being confused when mixing different DW versions in the same computer.
