I have a unicode ini file, and GetPrivateProfileStringW() does not recognize all the special characters in it. Is there a solution to this, except fror reading myself manually the ini file ?

GetPrivateProfileStringW() is the unicode version of GetPrivateProfileString() (for compatibility purposes, I guess). This means it accepts unicode strings as params. BUT, unfortunatelly, this does not mean it will attempt to read an unicode ini file (as I discovered WritePrivateProfileStringW does not write an unicode text in ini).
So, you'll have to do it manually.
