http://unxutils.sourceforge.net/

check unxutils, it's a porting project for many GNU tools to win32, including grep.
IIRC it's just a zip with an exe for each tool (sed, fileutils, ...)

Hi

i have tried this utility and it encorporates all features of the GREP utility found in UNIX. However this is a tool for DOS and hence is strict about 8:3 filename limitation. But then Windows Xp has its own grep utility... Turbo GREP i guess.. but this tool works fine for dos. It also provides a man page which can be viewed in a standard text editor.
