Windows Explorer closing suddenly.

I have a client who runs Microsoft Windows XP Pro, SP1 and they will scan .tif files to a C:\TEMP folder and when they go to this folder and click on these files in Windows Explorer will close intermittently.  Windows Explorer will only close when working with these files and will not close with any other folder using Windows Explorer.  There are no errors in Event Viewer and when you run a report on the error, Microsoft says to just install SP2.  The users Adobe Acrobat Standard 6.0 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 will sometimes close and event viewer that the .exe was terminated unexpectedly.  Both adobe products have been uninstalled and reinstalled in safe mode, repaired, etc.  Windows Explorer keeps closing when these .tif files are used.  Any assitance you could offer would be appreciated.

    Hello regsamp =)

May be the .TIF association is bad.... try downloading and running this registry file and restart to check if same problem ??
