Auto Logoff
I have a NT4.0 domain with all XP Pro Clients
I have set up in group pol, for the screen sav to come on
after 3 min.
How can I, in group pol, if a user has his screen locked force a logout
after a set time, like at 7:00 pm it would log them off.
or would it be best to create a schedule task to do a shutdown and reboot
any other suggestions

Within that doc 314999 is has this at the bottom:
Troubleshooting:
The Force application termination option forces programs to quit even if the programs contain unsaved data. If you do not use this option, programs that contain unsaved data do not quit and the user is not logged off. It is a good idea to set your corporate policy to automatically save user documents if you use the Force application termination option.
Do you know How can this be set up:

i am not shore on that one i know if you have office 2003 it has a auto save seting you can adjust so it saves open docs every 10 mins or so but
if you dont have office 2003 you may need another prog like http://www.v-com.com/product/AutoSave_Home.html or this one that has a timer to save docs and files you are working on every 10mins http://www.autosave-your-edit.com-download.net/
