You could connect them over a serial port and run PPP on it. It will be slow though.<br />
Network cards can be bought very cheaply so if you have spare slots in both computers get a couple of network cards and a crossover network cable to connect them.

&nbsp;I have two old systems at house, I want to connect them back to back and practice linux Os on network side.The thing is i do not have NIC for both the systems. Any posibility of connecting the systems in network.
