connect 2 pc´s

hi ,
 I have two old systems at house, I want to connect them back to back and practice linux Os on network side.The thing is i do not have NIC for both the systems. Any posibility of connecting the systems in network.

    Hi winlinsol,
    You could connect them over a serial port and run PPP on it. It will be slow though.
    Network cards can be bought very cheaply so if you have spare slots in both computers get a couple of network cards and a crossover network cable to connect them.

    u can connect both serial ports ...............
    connect a 9 pin female to female  cable back to back..........

    or u can make a cable yourself...........  with pin 1 and 3 Tx(transmition)  6 and 9  RX (recieving)
