Server/Exchange 2000 migration to Server/Exchange 2003

I would like to replace my current Server 2000 / Exchange 2000 DC with a Server 2003 / Exchange 2003 DC.  It is the only server on the network.  Is there any way to perform the migration while preserving the original server name?  Possibly using a 3rd machine as a temporary DC/Exchange Server?  Also, is there anything tricky I need to watch out for?

We just did an exchange Migration.

The following was invaluble when we did it.  Provides a step-by-step:
Step-by-Step: Migrating Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 Using New Hardware
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Migrating-Exchange2000-Exchange-2003-Hardware.html

Then use:

Moving Mailboxes with the Exchange 2003 Move Mailbox Wizard
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Exchange_2003_Move_Mailbox_Wizard.html

We found the following helpful:

Microsft Exchange 2003 Deployment Guide
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/exchange/2003/Library/DepGuide.mspx

Good Luck,

Matt
