I have a W2K domain and would like to setup so that only certain users can logon to a particular machine...how can can this be done. I have many machines setup in our domain, but this one particular machine I only want certain people to logon.

In that systems list of users, put the user account(s) you want to have access that system and make sure to include the domain admins group or you won't be able to use it either.

Go to Computer Management and then look for Local Users and Groups.  Under the Groups folder, open the "Users" group and make the changes here.  (you should check the power users group as well).

If you want to create a user account that can only log on to specific systems, then you have to set the systems said user can log on to via Active Directory properties for said user.

You can also modify a group policy to disallow logon locally to specific users and groups.

In Active Directory User and Group consol, you can control which user can connect to which workstation, from the user properties or computer properties
