I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I currently am subscribed to netowork world, which I believe is a weekly magazine, and is totally free.
I did a quick google for subscriptions, and found one here:

I am not sure about shipping from these places, I was put on the mailing list at a Comnet conference a year or two ago, and there was no shipping charge from there.  I think it is a decent publication for what you're looking for, but I am not sure if it goes to the UK as well.

It looks like the print publication isn't cheap to ship outside the US, however it looks like its free online.

Look no further:  http://www.networkmagazine.com/  The print magazine is free if you qualify by filling out their questionaire and specifying you're in IT Networking, how many people in your company, how much money you direct, do you specify equipment, etc.

I subscribe to many free publications, I am not sure if they are all offered world wide.  They all have varying degrees of networking information.  I am not too sure that there is one magazine or periodical that can sum it all up.  Once you have subscribed to a few you will find your favorite.  Below are a few that I subscribe to and their websites.

Network World - http://www.networkworld.com/print/default.htm
Computer World - http://www.cwsubscribe.com/?from=tabsubscribe
InfoWorld - http://subscribe.infoworld.com/cgi-win/ifwd.cgi?m=add&p=ww3hm1
eWeek - http://www.omeda.com/ziff/ewk/ewk.cgi?&t=whback&p=lz3home or http://www.eweek.com

Hope you find some of these helpful!!

Cheers,

Lyle
