import excel data into contacts

I am using Windos XP PRO and I have MS Office XP 2003. I also have Lotus Notes 6.0.

My Question is:

I have an Excel sheet with contact info such as, Name, Address, Phone, City,State, email, etc.

I want to create a file format that I can import into Lotus Notes.  Lotus notes will only take .VCF format. Is there another way?  Is there a way to save to outlook from excel and then export as vcf from excel to Lotus Notes?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Best approach (ahem):
- inspect a contact document, figure out what fieldnames are used
- add a column Form with content "Person" on every row
- the first row should contain the names of the fields where the contact information should be stored
- most important part: save the Excel-file as a .wk4 file
- open your address book
- File/Import, select Lotus 1-2-3, select the file and click Import

No tools or programming required...
thanks for the points
