CF Server not functioning properly

I've just installed CFMX6.1 on a Linux server using the binary file which was downloaded off Macromedia.com.
However, whenever I try to access http://mysite/cfide/administrator/index.cfm, the browser attempts to download the index.cfm instead of loading it. Is there something I have not done?

I'm running Apache.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There should be an Apache connector in the CFusionMX directory somewhere, run that and it should create some entries in the Apache config file so it knows with MODULE to use when a CFM file is requested...

At the moment, apache does not know that a cfm file should be processed by ColdFusion..
