I have Windows 2000 server installed, and I would like to save a screenshot.. can someone tell me how to do this without installing Paint Shot Pro or some other graphics program? Also, how about a shot of a single window?

    Accepted Solution

Use the Print Screen key.  That stores the screen shot in memory.  Then run MSPAINT and paste it there.  You can save as a BMP and possibly JPG.

In addition, if you use ALT+PrtScrn key combo, you'll get just the active window.
