Excel 2000 - Freeze Panes

I am recording a macro in Excel 2000.

I am able to invoke Panes that split the Sheet into quarters.

How to I programmatically MOVE the pane to a different row and column?

For example I want the first row and first column to remain FIXED while I scroll.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

You can use the Freeze Pan (menu Window > Freeze Pane) instead of the Split.
    Range("B2").Select
    ActiveWindow.FreezePanes = True
