"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Motherboard support Hot Swap
XEON CPU * 2

Dual Channel SCSI Interface (one for HDD, and one for backup device)
Support RAID 5 at least.

5 SCSI HDDs, (two array - RAID 1 for system, RAID 5 for Data)
Redundance power supply
Tape backup drive (depend on how large size of HDD you have)

Thanks for your reply daniel. I will be waiting for more advices, and will be looking into the terminology you have introduced to me. I am basically a web programmer and new into this hardware stuff, so I need to research a lot to end up with a decision. Thanks a lot again
