In powerbuilder version 7

today() holds current date.
now()  holds  current time.

Which variable holds current datetime?

If there isn't any, then how can I make it?

You could use
datetime ldt_today
select getdate() into :ldt_today;

The disadvtg of using today() and now() is that it shows the client time, while querying from the database
will be consistent throughout your appln

or simply using the below either in string or datetime, recmnd is the ldt_date value
string ls_string
datetime ldt_date
ls_string = string(today()) +' ' +string(now())
ldt_date = DateTime( today(),now())
messagebox ( ls_string  ,string(ldt_date))
