dhcp configuration

hi experts.
i'm trying to use ltsp. But i can't seem to get my dhcp server to work.
I have tried many different configurations but get the same response when viewing /var/log/messages:

Nov 10 09:23:30 back dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:06:4f:0a:ad:07 via eth0
Nov 10 09:23:31 back dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.0.79 to 00:06:4f:0a:ad:07 via eth0

my server address: 192.168.0.2

my workstation is:192.168.0.79

please don't send me to ltsp.org. i've checked out the docs there.
Please help. thanks

Hi kephillips,
The log entry looks fine to me. The DHCP server is receiving the discover request from the workstation and offering it 192.168.0.79 which is the IP address you say it has.

What is the exact problem you are having?

grblades,
thanks for responding.
I was having a problem with the dhcp server allowing the workstation to connect. I was able to find a dhcp.conf file online, plugged it in and it worked ok. Thanks very much anyways.
