wai (web accessability initiative) ready-to-use portal

Hi,
does anyone know of a ready-to-use (free? why not?) portal that is conformant to Level A (or more) of the WAI (Web Accessability Initiative) guidelines (http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/WAI-WEBCONTENT-19990505/)?
ASP would be great, but EVERYTHING would be still great!

Hi:

Here is a long list of portal script /  software, where you will find both open source (free) as well as commercial version :

ASP :

Thanks for your list rsdn, but I really need a WAI portal. I can find myself VERY LONG lists of ASP and other script languages' portals. The fact is that I can't spend all my time testing all these portals for being WAI conformant. Could you please let me know if you know of any WAI conformant portal?

Hi rsdn,
I think we are close to what I was looking for. I went to the suggested web site and I tested the online demo (http://phpwebsite.appstate.edu/demo/0.9.x/) with an online WAI compliance tester (I used http://bobby.watchfire.com/bobby/html/en/index.jsp). As I got some items in the "priority 1 user check" I'm not sure that this portal is truly and completely WAI "LEVEL A" compliant (I do not need LEVEL A-A and A-A-A compliance). As I would like to safely use the "LEVEL A" WAI compliance logo on my web site, could you please kindly perform the same check and let me know how do you understand the results?

Hi s_federici:

I think it's hard to find which is full compliance portal system, specially when it is open source. Becuase most of the open source are in the beta stage & updating often. If you really need fully WAI compliant then I suggest you to go with commercial or custom made software / script.

You can give a free bid at Rentacoder.com, just to check how much it will cost :

W3C or Bobby Level A compliancy can be easily obtained through the use of clean html templates.  I have worked with WSPS (Web Sphere Portal Server) and the PostNuke Family and they are all easily customisable to meet your requirements.  While WSPS costs an absolute fortune, I would certainly recommend PostNuke (www.postnuke.org) for these requirements.
