Case removal Dell Dimension 4600?

i'm looking to upgrade the drives on this unit - I bought it new about two years ago.
But!! the case appears to be held on with pop-rivets!  Tell me this isn't so!?!

It looks like the front may pull off by grasping/squeezing the bottom front section.. but when I tried, there's no "give" or hint that it would reveal the inner secrets.

Can't believe Dell would rivet the case on.
