Double Space in signature in Outlook 2003

Hi- When I reply to some messages, my signature appears double-spaced. Very annoying. It doesn't happen with all, it seems like only with plain text messages (I send in HTML, and if I reply to a message in HTML, the signature is single-spaced).

While I'm here, how come I can't insert a signature into an email like I could in other versions? I used to be able to Insert>signature>Normal, which would solve this current problem as well. If I could do that, I'd just get rid of the reply signature and insert one. Thanks-you guys rock.

You must be using Word as your email editor or else the INSERT SIGNATURE option would be availiable.

TRying adding you signature into Word's Autotext feature. Then you can insert it via INSERT - AUTOTEXT - SIGANATURE.

One possible explanation for the spacing problen might be that you still need to create a signature for each of the mail formats. I know you needed to do so in Outlook 2000.
