Front Page Hover Buttons and Windows XP

When we add a hover button from Front Page none of our XP machines can view them, however our Win98 machines can.  Any ideas?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This could be caused by one of the updated IE 6 security features related to Windows XP SP2.  Is it possible to post a link to your website or at least the section of html code that specifies the hover button?

It may also be a matter of making sure Java is enabled in IE on your XP browsers (if the FP feature uses Java, which I suspect it does - not certain though, as I don't use FP myself).

Or more accurately:
"Hover buttons require Java Virtual Machine which can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com.  However, most people have quit using Hover Buttons because windows XP / IE6 no longer come with JVM installed."

You can also get JVM at www.virtualmachine.tk, but remember that if this is a public website, your XP/IE6 users won't necessarily know this, so you may want to consider using something other than hover buttons.
